Angkor (Siem Reap, Cambodia)

No photo or video can capture the beauty of the ancient city. It's better to see the hidden city in person to understand why many consider it as one of their favorite destinations. Candi Prambanan and Borobudur (Central Java, Indonesia)

Take a trip to Central Java to see two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. On the one hand, Candi Prambanan is an ancient Hindu temple complex in Yogjakarta and one of the largest in the world. On the other hand, Borobodur is a Mahayana Buddhist temple and is considered to be the largest in the world. Terracotta Army (Xi'an, China)

This archeological site is considered to be the second most popular tourist site in China. The life-size terracotta army has survived generations and dynasties. And though this was discovered in the late 20th century, archeologists say that there's still a long way to go until they find the rest of Qin Shi Huang's armies and his tomb. Dr. Paul M. Willette.
